hi everyone! it's been a long time since my last quick journal entry.

my primary reason for writing a new entry is to just try out the temporary promo of being able to use journal skins. kind of shallow of me actually, but what the hell; i love customizing my stuff, and this is quite a good chance to do so.

regarding my activities related to art, particularly here on deviantart, i'm practically inactive. i'm still trying to cope up with having too many more important priorities (such as family, college and the drama that comes with it), and the fact that i've got a terrible case of laziness. combining these two, i feel very trapped as an artist and consequently suffer emotionally from time to time. what more is that recently my 10 year old dog passed away, and i'm having a little trouble with college life... it can get pretty heavy on the heart at times.

i realize i've yet to get to the point that i can finally practice what i love to do with no constraints (such as time, space and financial terms). now that i have matured a lot, i learned clearly (and quite the hard way) that i can only truly achieve this through hard work, focus, and determination. i know lines like these always sound 'cheesy' but it really is the truth.


...so, for anyone interested in seeing new stuff from my gallery (for which i strongly doubt there is), try not to expect. in fact, don't even wait up - i rarely ever submit. for now, i'm just your typical lurker, and once in a while i fave things here and there.
